See this article in the Independent on the increase in hospital admissions for tooth extractions.
The report mentions that the “inexperience and pay structure of NHS dentists” are the cause of a “steep rise in hospital admissions” for “tooth extractions” and that more people are travelling to Europe for cheaper dental treatment.
I actually went to Croatia with my husband. We went to see Dr. Zivkovic, he is supossed to be the best implantologist in Croatia. My husband got implants and prosthetics, a combined procedure. The Doctor and everybody at the Clinic were amazing, professional but friendly. We have never been to Croatia before, but it’s a beautiful place to visit. Rijeka is a safe town, but still not to small. We loved it there!

Everyone seems to be talking about price and where is the cheapest. What about quality??? I found a dentist is Germany. They were simply awesome and not much more expensive. Everything about this clinic was QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY

I recently visited Lithuania for dental treatment. The service and treatment was excellent and the price was 1/4 of the UK price. Vilnius was a surprise really attractive medieval oldtown and great place to visit.

I think John Jones makes a good point, it’s not all about the price. You have to look at the quality of work you will be getting. There are loads of dental clinics in Hungary for example offering the “cheapest” implant or the “cheapest” crown. But I know for a fact there are only a few that offer top quality services. I visited a number of the clinics and the only one i’d recommend is Kreativ Dental Clinic (which is in Budapest) and possibly K-G dental which is north of Budapest. I think you have to consider quality when having such treatment.
